Wow! I was awakened by a phone call to see this horrible scene on TV. My girlfriend and I sat up in bed as she sat and talked to her friend on the phone. I was in shock and dismay and utterly speechless although in my head I was saying what the hell is going on? and then minutes later, we witnessed the second plane into the second tower and we both screamed and burst into tears. Since then my girlfriend has passed away, and I'm glad that she don't have do live in this world of anxiety. You did good . don't worry about your class. You did what I believe most of us Americans did sat with our mouths wide open. You get an "A+" from me.

The assignment was mis-stated then. If it was "what did you actually think", then you responded correctly.

The teacher was apparently asking you to describe in words either your emotions, or what you would expect the emotions and thoughts to be.

I said a lot. I saw the second plane crash into it and I was on the phone with my friend and I said ANOTHER PLANE JUST CRASHED INTO THE SECOND BUILDING.
Then we were at the doctor's office for my wife's pregnancy checkup and we heard that both towers fell, and I said, well, they did it. That's what they wanted to do and they did it.

We all spoke....yelled actually...was at ISU and a bunch of Chinese exchange students started cheering in the cafeteria where we were all watching it...we started yelling at them, came close to having a brawl...instructors stopped it by getting them out of there.
