How can we, as a democracy, tell the middle east that they need a democracy and that they need to treat women better when we have never had a woman for a president. I think we need to lead by example and elect Hillary the next president to the United States.

Do I hear an "amen brother/sister?"

Although having a woman president is a nice thought, I don't think Hillary will be the one. First of all, I think Bill Clinton has too many critics for Hillary to get enough votes. Many people think that voting for Hillary is just like voting for Bill all over again. Also, the chaos theory comes into effect. Right now our country is at war with Iraq, hence there is chaos. In times of chaos, the world moves toward stability. Let's face it, the US is used to having male presidents. I think if our country were in peace right now, Hilary would have a better chance because people get bored and they would be curious to see what having a woman president will be like.

Realistically, a real chance at the first woman vice-presidency. She herself is a little too controversial to actaully make the top seat right now (just look at the ranting of some of the other posters here).
I have a feeling she will run for the nomination and make a strong showing. A male front runner will emerge, and unless there has been too much animosity generated, she will be picked up for the veep slot. Gore says he hasn't ruled out another bid, and according to polls he has a decent shot. Imagine a Gore/Clinton ticket, now that would be funny.

HAHAHA, is this a serious question? I most definitely say negative. Conservatives will run this country for many more years to come, the Democratic party doesn't know what they stand for(e.g. Kerry) and have ruined their chances of ever winning a presidential election. I think Bubba ruined it for Hillary, not that she ever stood a chance anyway.

IN theory: Hillary Clinton may be as solid a prez (the terrific interior the 20 th Century, a minimum of!) as her husband....yet she is a girl and this u . s . a . won't decide for a a girl! the sorrowful reality is they might faster decide for a ditzy-a million/2-ideas Stepford spouse, like Laura Bush than a nicely-knowledgeable, pro baby-kisser like Hillary! that is sexist politics and that's that! comparable for any Black candidate. we are in hassle-free terms a hundred and forty-some-atypical years out of slavery yet do you quite think of Obama has of challenge? I bear in ideas while the reality that JFK became a CATHOLIC became a huge ingredient! look what befell to him...(not in hassle-free terms via fact he became a catholic, I"m particular!) additionally, Hillary is dragged down by ability of the ultimate's persecution of her husband, as became Al Gore in 2000, nevertheless (to my expertise) he'd not at all slept with invoice, nor exchanged vows of fidelity with him! the unusual ingredient is, that, even nevertheless many sympathize with Hillary's stance as a "betrayed spouse" (something upon which she has not at all traded, as others might, to her credit!), she nevertheless bears those scars, imposed by ability of the lack of expertise of Christian hypocrites. in short, if HIllary have been to run, plenty as i've got fun along with her, i might vote for her Democratic opponent! I bear in ideas Geraldine Ferraro, in hassle-free terms a VICE-presidential candidate, all too nicely!
