How can i connect to the internet when i'm not at home
i saw some people can access online and i don't know how they did that

You need both a wireless card and some wireless service.

Starbucks and some McDonalds offer wireless services but you have to pay each time you use it.

You can also get programs with Sprint - but those cost $50 per month. Some Barnes & Nobles offer wireless service for a fee. You could try a university but you would have to be a student to log on.

You can either get a WiFi card and connect to any unsecure network in your area. You should purchase a card that support 802.11b and 802.11g protocols.

click on the network icon in the taskbar by the time on the laptop right click on it go to properties then you click on view wireless networks then you click on advanced tab you put in the network id and security key that u set up on the router home back then you click apply & ok then you click on view wireless network's your see your network id click on that then click on conncet
