My friend was on People's Court. No, they do not pay you for appearing, but if you lose in court, they will pay whatever the cost of the judgement is. Like if the judge says you owe the other party $2,000, then the show will pay the amount for you as a favor for appearing on the show. I prefer Judge Judy, though!!!

As far as I am aware you do not but they do put you up in a hotel should you need that and you are getting the lawyer fees wavered. and any expenses that you incurred from the program. That should save you a real lot of money. I hope that it goes your way should you go there.

yeah i think its like $5000 and than if you lose they take from it and it you win they add to it !
