It depends on the person. I've read stories anywhere from the same month they got off it to months, years, or never being able to.
I was on the depo shot. I had every side effect in the book. I would never recommend it to anyone.

it completely depends on your body. I was on the depo for 2 1/2 years and almost 3 WEEKS to the day after i missed my last shot i got pregnant. My docs had assured me it would take 6-18 months on average to concieve after getting off the shot.... well that was not the case for me!
but you should be very careful while on depo provera as it has many dangerous side effects. ie: extreme weight gain or loss, if you smoke is not nearly as effective, if you are over 150 lbs its also not as effective, if you have ever had any depression problems it can and often will heighten that and can in rare cases cause a person to develop scitsophrenia (sp?)... good luck and please be sure to research everything before making a decision to get on it or stay on it as even your doctors will not tell you everything.

i might say it would take atleast a year. the dep. places fairly some horemones on your physique and it takes a whilst to positioned on off. yet just to be on the risk-free area take a try. it additionally takes a whilst to get your sessions back on aim upon getting off considering that maximum women persons dont get thier sessions whilst on depo

i was told for every shot you get it takes 6 months per shot for the depo to wear off. you should ask you GYNO chances are if your system is different it may wear off faster.. But you shouldn't try to conceive until all the depo is off
