It will never be eliminated unless you were to sign away custody or become the custodial parent. By 50% of the time do you mean 6 months out of the year or just 1/2 the day? Obviously you are not the custodial parent and they must live with their mother. If you love your kids you'll keep paying. If she is using the child support for anything other than what it is intended for and you can prove it, well you may have a case. The catch is, are you willing to take on the responsibility to house, feed, and educate those children 24/7? I've added a link that has some info on child support as well as divorce info. I don't have all the answers, but I can give you a good place to start.

If your child support goes through the state child support enforcement offices then you can call them and request a hearing, they will send forms out to you and the ex evaluating all aspects and modify child support accordingly. If it doesn't and you pay it to the ex then you will have to get an attorney and go back through the court. Another reminder is if you don't have it listed in a court order that you are to have the child 50% of the time then legally your child support will be figured on what the court order says you have the child. Remeber though even though you have the child half the time your ex still has the bills to cover them all the time just as you do and depending on her finacial situation she might not be able to provide for the child when she has it without your support. This is for your child so think of what is best for it than what is best for you and the ex.

You have to have PRIMARY custody. How will your kids get what they need if you don't pay support? Will you buy things they need when they are with you and your ex wife buy things when the kids are with them? If everything is split 50/50 I think that's fair but the courts always judge in the mother's favor. Sorry.

good luck. It will never be eliminated regaurdless until your child is 18 or after his/her education. You can make application to the court for ammendment of your support which may help it decrease with proof of your reasoning why. Retain all your receipts, everything to justify. This also depends on your divorce agreement. if you are taking the child above and beyond your alotted time with a verbal agreement with your X, then I also suggest you both go back for an unconstested ammendment. Talk to a lawyer, laws are different depending where you are.

Nope, won't happen. What makes you think you don't have to pay child support because they spend half their time with you? Isn't that what being a father is all about?

You should have thought of that before you had unprotected sex. There is no way for you to get out of paying child support uless you can prove that it is not your child.

child support is based on relative income as well as time in custody. Is it that your income is that much more than your ex's?
Be happy you have them with you- it's only money.
