you should be at least 5 and your weight should not matter. there is someone i know that her van has a front passenger side airbag but it automatically shuts off if the person sitting in that seat is under one hundred pounds.

I am an old fuddy duddy when it comes to this sort of thing I don't let my children ride in the front seat until they were about 12 or 13 if for some reason they had to before this then I would move the seat all the way back as far as it could go.as far how there weight goes I am not sure legally I am not sure about this either.

is tht ever an issue? surely u can ride in the front seat as a baby if u felt like it
obviously seeing other answers below, i dont kno a thing... could b because im in england? iv never heard any1 asking my age when im in the front seat... well tht wud hav been back 12 or so yrs :p

That depends upon state law. Some restrict it and others don't. Check with your DMV.
