i want to become an elementary school teacher and i want to hear how the classes are

You need to volunteer or ask to visit an elementary school near where you'd like to teach. Teaching is not all about loving your students - it is also hard work. Elementary schoolis especially challenging because you can't always explain or rationalize things to a 6 year old and, also, kids this age need to be guided through everything, all the time. Teaching is rewarding, but challenging work. Go see for yourself. Good Luck!

Obviously, classes vary from one school to another and within a school itself. I would suggest that if you are serious about becoming an elementary school teacher, you visit several schools and classrooms to see how "the classes are" for yourself. Most of what happens in any classroom is directly proportional to the excellence of the teacher in that classroom. I think you will see that clearly. Loose, unorganized, and undisciplined classrooms are a result of poorly trained teachers. The converse is also true. A well-organized classroom where the students are engaged in learning will reflect the excellence of the teacher. So be determined to be the best or seek another form of employment!!

I'm a paraprofessional and going to finish my BA in Earlychildhood/Elementary degree soon. I think its wonderful that you want to become a teacher. It doesn't matter grade you teach just remember to love the kids for who they are. Good Luck!
