I'm not sure of the answer, but i know that Dr Karl Kruszelnicki (author, triple j/abc, science guru) did a study of this, and i think wrote about it in one of his books. Hold on i'll have a look on his website and see if i can find anything.

Mine's not. But I don't get belly button lint very often, so it's hard to remember, but I think it's black. Or maybe reddish.

Its not, I saw a guy on tv that had collected his belly button fluff in jars for years (bizzare) and it changed colour according to the towels he was using.

the primary colors of blue is the clothing next to your skin..therefore the lint will be blueish

good question...this reminds me of my frend and do not read this is u hav a weak stomach...but my frend who wieghs like 300 has to empty out his belly button evryday cuz it is full of lint and it smells like sh!t REALLY bad and its gross and sometimes he wipes it on ur face to be funny but it makes u puke

everyone has denim and, especially if You have new denim, the indigo blue dye tend's to bleed off until the jean's are nice and, faded.
