The fact that electromagnetic waves bouncing on objects and arriving to our retinas become all the beautiful shapes, colors, objects, plants and animals that they become.
The fact that the human being can arrange pressure waves in the air in ways that add up to transmit the emotional state of one human being to another through music.
The fact that a human brain can know, through three rooms, a couple of turned on TVs and four people speaking to each other that the sound that he is hearing in the background was a coke spilling on the floor while all of that was happenning !
The fact that we can coordinate the billions of cells in our arms, legs and torsos to move together in one same direction when we walk down the street or up and down a flight of stairs
The fact that the billions of subatomic particles that make up a human body actually converge into a "being" that has consciousness and questions "it's" own existence. Matter arranged randomly questioning matter ...that is amazing !!!
The fact that, like Borges' story showed, a young man of 20 years has a different body (hence completely different matter) and completely different set of ideas than the same man when he is 80 years old, which brings the question. If it is not the matter that composes our bodies what defines us, and it is not our ideas that defines us either (for they both change in their entirety throughout our lives), what is it that is a human being ? Is it the vector of change of our ideas and our atoms through our lives ? Is it something else?
All of those things and many others leave me utterly amazed at what we have. This is one seriously amazing world we live in. We don't need ghosts, magic, gods or any other supernatural forces to make it as amazing as it is. SImply being able to watch a mosquito fly can prove that to you.

Random acts of kindness.
Sometimes i think the world has become so corrupt and void of compassion but there are instances where i catch a glimpse of the real humanity.
Like when a little kid told his mom he found five dollars on the carpet of this camera store and she actually handed it back to the cashier as lost. That was...whoa. Most people would have kept the five dollars.
People that let seniors or children sit on the bus when it's packed.
Simple acts that are so random ...but they mean so much more than anything else.

I am amazed at how stupid some people can be. and how people don't know how to dress for their body shape. Come on common sense says if you have rolls cover them having your belly hang out is not appropriate except at the beach. even then it depends lol
