Absolutely! And if that monkey and doggie want to get hitched, hey..what ever rocks their boats! I'm all about it.
Seriously....I am all for it. It is two people who love eachother enough to pledge their lives to eachother. How can that be bad?

Yes, completely. I think that a third party should never, ever be able to decide what two people want to do with their lives, as long as what those two people do doesn't harm others. In the case of gay marriage, in my opinion, by allowing it we would be treating gay people as equals to the rest of the population and would confer them all the legal and social rights that heterosexual couples enjoy. I can't possibly see why there should be any reason to treat some members of our species as second rate citizens as gay people are treated by not conferring on them the rights that the rest of the population enjoys. In my opinion, if two gay people marry each other they do not take anything away from any heterosexual couple or from any heterosexual single person. I say let them marry and enjoy all the joys and frustrations that married life gives the rest of us if they so choose.
I also think that all the "it says so in the bible" arguments are incredibly narrow minded, for they do not admit that church and state should be separate and confer the catholic viewpoint of the universe the status of being the only valid one, which it is not. Simply because your viewpoint says something is wrong doesn't make it wrong. If it were so then we would have to forbid many, many other things simply because some segment of the population deems them inappropriate.
Regarding arguments that it is wrong because homosexuality is not a natural thing, honestly, so what. Neither is driving a car, flying in a plane, wearing clothes or using medicine, so simply because something does or does not occur in nature (which, by the way, is very, very debatable about homosexuality as well) this should not be a deciding factor on anything. If it were, we would still be living in caves, running naked with lice on our hairs, eating raw food and dying of the common cold with no medicine to cure any stupid disease.

I don't think the government should even be involved with any type of marriage; straight, homo, or otherwise.
The doctrine that I follow would not allow gay marriage, and that is fine for me since I am not gay anyway. If somebody else were, and wanted to get married, simply find a comparable faith that allows it.
I am sure in Biblical times, marriage certificates and government approval weren't involved anyway.
And I agree with Sluggo; if the government must intervene with our lives (heterosexuals), make it completely equal down the line!
...dang! Sure are a lot of judgemental people here. Whatever happened to "let he who is without sin cast the first stone"?

Hell NO! I don't know how anyone can! It's a damn sin for everyone's sake people should read the Bible more often! 1 more thing Bush doesn't support it either he's against it that's probably the only thing we have in common. If you don't repent don't be surprised to see Satan when you die. And to everyone who said no I thank you for being educated unlike some people.

If it'll shut the gay community up about the disparity, discrimination, and oppression of the gay community, I wholeheartedly support gay marriage, gay divorce, gay alimony, gay child custody suits, and gay bachelor apartment houses.

Hey, let them get married and be miserable like the rest of us then maybe they will keep their sex life private. After all, I don't have a parade telling the world that I want my spouse to poke me in the behind so maybe if they are married they won't have time for parades.

No I do not. I believe marriage is a union between a male and a female and that when the Constitution was written it spelled that out pretty clearly. Our country was founded by Christian leaders. What has happened?
