If you could choose any bit of science fiction technology from the smallest of communicator ( a-la Star Trek ) to the biggest ship ( Super Star Destroyer like in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi ) what would it be, and why?
Personally, I would choose the TARDIS from Doctor Who. It can travel to any point in history, anywhere in the universe, at any given time.

I'd like somthing more dependable than the tardis. I really just want to be able to beam places and arrive instantaniously. I'd like dinner in London and lunch in Hong Kong and still sleep in my own bed. Wouldn't that be great?!

The Delorean from back to the future II to travel in time or because I know how to drive a car and maybe even fly it! Maybe even the phone booth from bill and teds excellent adventure!

A shrinking machine ( spongebob squarepants)
because i could move from house to house without contracting or it taking days. It would all be done in 1hour
