Is it weird? No. I don't think hardly anything's weird, tho. Other ppl will tell you it is. I think that you have midnight cravings because you don't eat healthy during the day and your body needs nutrients and you feel like you want a donut. Hey I go for donuts at 3 in the morning. that's after we go out all night tho. Who knows. What's normal anyway? Is it weird for you? or is it a habit? lol.

When I was in college, very busy and very poor at times in the middle of the night I would hear I swear almost hear but wake up with a craving for Cookies and Cream Icecream. I was very thin and very busy. I was worknig a job and attending school such that often I suppose I did not eat well. When you are sleeping your body continues to digest food such that you may have a desire for food especially if the stomach acid gets a bit strong. There are better things to eat prior to going to sleep. I often get up in the middle of the night with a thirt and drink a little milk as the calcium relaxes my body so I can go back to sleep more easily as sometimes it is just restlessness. Sometimes I eat a little bit because I recognize now that I have a bit too much acid in my stomach. I can eat plan crackers and it helps with this. Yours may be something entirely different. If you are smelling something cooking such as the donuts next door it will affect your desire to eat such things.

Yes, you should be going to Tims. Unless you are American, then you would have to settle for what you have got.
Seriously, you are not weird. We all like a little break sometimes. It's not like you are taking off, or going gambling or drinking. You wait until they are asleep so you don't burden your wife with the childcare. You sound like a fine family man, and your wife made a fine choice in husbands. Stop being so hard on yourself.

Yes. Please take better care of your heart. Rest is the only time the body has a chance to recover and recharge. The body does most of the repair and growth @ night. At some point the brain disconnects from telling the body what to do. Also, why not take your wife w/you?
I think there's a problem and you are trying to tell youself you need a break. You are rewarding yourself for something? Have her get the dontus, you have them for desert and go to bed. :)

You sound greedy...or maybe your wife is greedy and EATS all your donuts. Maybe you have a fat kid and he eats all your donuts. Either way, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.
