A lot depends on the maturity of both the boy and girl. Single dating carries quite a responsibility for self-control.
I would not even consider single dating until age 16. Hanging out with a crowd of your friends is more fun anyway.

If you're an honor student or make great grades 16 is the age ,but if cannot concentrate on anything but the boy you should maybe wait until you are 18

the best age to starty dating is when you are 14- 16
but not getting serious like into sex serious till you are 18 like a freshamn in high school . i am a junior in college so that is different didn't have any dates till three summers ago for only a three daytes wi th diff people after that i got nothing . till i met my fiance of 2 years and yes i am 22 and a women..

there really isnt a certain age for people because people differ and some get mature faster than others.....it depends on your maturity level and if u know urself u r ready to date someone.

I'd say a Senior in highschool or a freshmen in college or any time after college because you know you're mature enough to handle a relationship and classes, however its up to the person themself because no one else can say when anyone's mature enough, its up to the person themself if they think they're mature enough to handle a relationship!

i'd say from a mother to a mother i let mine at age 10-11-12 cause its how i felt when i was little 5th or 6th is good

I think you should be at least 16 before you start really dating. I think it's okay to go to dances and such with a guy before that, but should go with groups before that.
