snapper riding mower with briggs and stratton engine. is there diagram showing where everything connects?

you need a new battery cable if it fell off. you attach it to a 1/4" stud and nut on the back of the starter using a 7/16 wrench.

Your question is a little vague. I would think that if the cable came off of the starter, it must be obvious where it reconnects. There must be a threaded stud where a nut would thread on and hold the pos. cable. I would recommend disconnecting the ground cable before putting on the pos cable and lastly, connect the ground cable, or NEG.

look for the starter normally it is just a bolt sticking out that you need the nut for to attach it or vice versa, should just be an open metal part probably pretty clean around it too as the cable is normally on it, just look around you'll find it, if you know where the transmission is it will be located around that
