if you can help it, don't shave this week. i know it sounds gross. gently shave or use veet or nair the night before or day of your performance. if it's still red, put makeup on it. i know that sounds gross and weird, too, but no one will be able to tell from a distance.

good luck.

Sounds like you shaved the armpit too closely, which causes irritation. Try some triple antibiotic ointment or cream. As for the in grown hairs, they will naturally surface sooner or later. Do not mess with them unless they are causing acne type results, I wouldn't mess with them at all if I had a week before a public appearance. Try the antibiotic ointment. It works in a day or two.

use a new razor after using it 2 times if they're disposable. if its dull it wont work and you get those icky red bumps.
