I am doing this for home work in a spanish class, any help would be greatly apreciated!

My friend had a daughter whom she called Emelina. The ending of names is often reflective of gender. The A is for feminine or females. The o is for Masculine or males. Ergo Emelio. Emelia is probably it or Emelina.

Emily can be said Emilia in Spanish or Amelia.

Close, everyone, but no cigar....Emelia is latin, and although Spanish is a latin language, it is a completely separate language
