Despite the bad start to the 1994 season (retiring in 2 races while MS won them), I think that Senna, had he stayed alive, would have given MS a true run for his money, probably coming down to a similar season ending in Adelaide (similar with the incident with Damon Hill).
If this battle would have been waged, then Schumacher would have never claimed more than 1 or 2 titles.

Yeah...It was just getting interesting between the two drivers when Ayrton Senna died...as much as I am a fan of Schumi...I know that Ayrton would have make him run for his money. On a side note, I'm still having a hard time imagining F1 without Schumacher.

If they could be in equal cars, I think it would be too close to call. Schumacher seems to rarely ever make a mistake, but Senna seems like he could drive over the edge and bring it back. It would have been awesome to see.

If Ayrton would have there he probably would have retired by the end of 1996, so Michael could have missed the 1996 championship. May be we can’t say. But I rate him as best driver than any one and next place goes to Michael.

Senna was already about break every records in F1. And yes if weren't dead Schumacher would've won one or two titles.

Would he? He was, is, and forever shall be. Dead or not. Michael is a great driver. But Ayrton was something more. He was the last of the "legendary" drivers like Moss, Clark, Stewart, Fangio, Surtees, Lauda, Villeneuve(Gilles of course), Hill, Andretti(mario) and James Hunt(ok, hunts not legendary, but ya gotta love him)

Senna might have been faster, but Schumacher is cold and analytic. It would be close, but head-to-head, I think Schuie would overtake more often than he'd be passed.

Obviously we will never know, but even though I love Schumi I believe that Senna was the best and always will be.
