Do you wish for real bands, real songs, actual Rock n' Roll? Or are "My Humps" and Yellowcard good enough for now?

Who doesn't? I stopped listening to the radio years ago. I mean, what the hell is wrong with society these days? The only "new" band I can stand is Avenged Sevenfold. They manage to rock like rock used to be (Hard Riffs, Intricate Solos, Dual Guitars, etc.) without sounding cheesy. It's too bad that people are obsessed with bubble gum pop and, well, bubble gum punk. Those guys are just glorified karaoke singers. I could go on and on, but that will just frustrate me.

No, Yellowcard and "My Humps" aren't enough. I want Alice in Chains man! True, there are a few good bands still around. Well, keep this in mind: Rock n' roll ain't ever gonna die!

Yes, I want rock & roll, big band, swing and jazz back.

In my observation, there is a come back or perhaps a new popularity of swing dancing and swing music among youth culture today.

Yes, we need real rock n' roll and country music. It's funny what used to be called pop music is now called country music.

Oh God I can't take any more of this "new rock" they have out. Bland emo crap, stupid punk garbage....I liked the stuff from the early to mid-90's, and I don't mean just grunge. I liked Incubus before they went soft, Fuel, Godsmack(still like them), Red Hot Chili Peppers(when they were insanely funky), and 311. Now I don't even listen to the radio anymore.

I'm a sixties teen... so rock for me is natural... ingrained... did it ever go away? I don't think so!

And what on earth is humps and Yellowcard?

I stopped listening to charts and pop scene back in the early eighties because, it was such crap... and it hasn't improved since:-(

Elvis... Elvis... Elvis... Elvis... Elvis... Elvis.... Elvis... Elvis... Elvis:-)

Ah... that's feels better;-)

bands of all kinds are still around, broaden your horizons. don't listen to the music blaring from other cars, raise your window and browse the stations till you find what you like, try p.o.d. my favorite, right now and listen to the words real close. better to buy
the cd and you can read the words...
