Actually it's horrible. People can say to be happy with what you have, but it's not that easy. Celebrities and people on tv, movies, and advertising ads make real people feel mediocre and they make it impossible to be who you really are. Just about every guy in this world is overly-obsessed with looks and the female form. He wants a skinny, fake chested, perfect celebrity. Some men might not, but most men do!!!! They have celebrity crushes on these women based on the roles they play and how they look. It's not based on anything else, because no one knows who a celebrity really is unless they're friends with them. People are in love with this "image of perfection," they're not in love with real people, or real beauty. Society is programmed to care more about looks, money, and social status than about who a person genuinely is. Morals and values are slipping away while we're trying to say that nothing's wrong with advertising today. Men are looking at porn while women are made to feel inadequate, not good enough, and marriages are crumbling. It's unfair to women!!! We can never live up to celebrities, or porn stars!!!

I have problems with the whole picture of it all... face lifts including... they are out there selling their skin care and say look how it works for me... check out Joan Rivers... her face care line does not work as good as she looks (after all she has had a face lift) ... no lines... or wrinkles,,, so when are they going to get real looking.... a person can grow old gracefully, if they look after their skin, where it be on their face or legs and a little exercise helps keep the butt lifted...take a look at the older men that are out there... how distinguished most of them look... don't see them running out to get blemish free bodies .

I think it's okay for a few superficial blemishes, but I think it's wrong when they completely change the shape of form of someone's body or appearance.

i think that we should see them as they are, there are enough celebs out there giving a bad example to the younger generation, seeing them wafer thin with their ribs showing is not a good example so why is it ok for their pictures to be airbrushed before we see them....

I think it is wrong. We should represent ourselves as we are celebs or not. Plus, it does give people the impression that they are imperfect when in reality the people they are aspiring to look like aren't even perfect. We should embrace our true selves.

Who cares? Probably the people who aspire to look like those fake people. Just realize it's fake and be content with what you've got. Stop being so neurotic!

Sells more and I think it happens ALL the time, but it certainly doesn't make normal people feel any better....so why do people keep buying them? They just make celebs richer and user more obsessed.

they do it to make them sellable. coz consumers like us are really fuzzy and they have to compete among themselves for our attention.he3

It causes young girls to think that's "perfection" and it can lead to eating disorders. I have to admit though, it does look better.
