YES, they do grow. At birth, the head and structures within it, such as the eyes and brain, are more developed in proportion to the rest of the body. The head and eyes increase in width by only 1.5 times up to the age of 5 years, and after that only a very small proportion more until early adulthood. So the eyes do grow slightly, probably only a matter of millimeters, and only up to age 5 or so.
The University of Illinois Eye Center and other sources say a baby is born with eyes that are about 75% the size they eventually will reach by adulthood. But still other sources, including Prevent Blindness America, say a baby's eye size is about two-thirds the size of an adult eye by the age of six months. Considering how tiny a baby is, this is still a very large eye size.

RE:
Do babies eyeballs grow?
i heard somewhere that babies eyeballs dont grow. The skin around it grows so as they get older more of the eyeball is exposed which makes it seem like they grew. is this true?.

Yes, they do. Next time you come across an infant, look and compare the size of the cute ones eyeball and yours. Of course, after a certain age the growth rate rapidly decreases making it look like it's not growing anymore. This is the same with height too. For example, if the growth rate for height remains the same, we'll have adults growing to the heights of buildings! :)

You heard correct. Eyes are the same size at birth as they are in adulthood. If you compair the coloured part of a babies with an adult, they are the same size. Interesting huh. Ears and noses never stop growing too!! Not a lot, but slightly throughout your life. That's why a lot of elderly people have big noses and ears.

No they dont. But as the face / head /bones grow it allows more of the eye to protrude out.
