Full Question:
To be useful, every map should contain at least five elements. What are they?

I looked on some websites and they said that the five elements were nodes, landmarks, districts, edges, and paths. However, other websites said that the five elements were things like legends and compass roses...so basically, I'm really confused.

Explain and discuss the five elements of mapping:
* Paths: (re: streets, walkways, transit lines, canals, railroads)
* Edges: (re: shores, railroad cuts, edges of developments, walls)
* Districts:
* Nodes: (re: junctions, a crossing of paths, a street corner 'Hang-out')
* Landmarks: (re: building, sign, store, mountain)
Or is it?
