You're not alone, I feel the same way. If I fall in love, I wouldn't mind being engaged to that person forever, but I don't agree with marriage. Marriage is too complicated, and unnecessary! Love is about love, not about a piece of paper officializing it. And what if you both decided that you weren't in love anymore? It would be easier for the both of you to agree that things were going wrong and leave as friends than having to go through an ugly divorce that would ruin everything.

I see nothing wrong with it, but women have other ideas. Frankly, I'm tired of women acting like they think they're morally superior to men just because they're more eager than we are to get married. There's nothing morally superior about being a golddigger. I don't want to rush into it because I would only marry for true love, and that takes time to find. In my book that makes me far more ethical than any woman who wants to rush into marriage for "security" (meaning lots of money).

After you've lived together for one year you're common-law married and you have access to basically all the rights a married couple does.

There are two unrelated aspects.
One -- making the personal commitment to be with someone, which may involve specific personal or religious practices.
Two -- telling the government about the relationship.

In the eyes of the church, yes that is wrong.
next you loose alot of rights by not being married, you would not be able to visit in a ER, you could not make thier medcial choice without a living will, and thier next of kin could sue for that right if you are not married. You do not get rights to part of thier retirment pay, no automaticly inherentince, and no rights to division of property if you seperate.

Theres no need to marry if you don't want too. Lots of people don't marry and are happier than some of those who do.

What would be wrong with that? Do your thing! There is no right or wrong in a democracy! You have freedom to do whatever you want with your relationship except hit or kill your mate unless you wanna live in jail...

Sure...gay people do it all the time.
Some straight people do, too.
It does make distribution of property and, if appropriate, parental rights far more messy in the case of a breakup.
