I have been to tons of nail salons, and I have yet to see a non-Vietnamese person working there. I have no problem with that- I was just wondering why it is... at least where I live in NC

Nail care was brought to Europe from Asia in the late 1300's by Marco Polo. On a trip to Siam (now Vietnam) one of his fellow travellers, a doctor named Coleridge, noticed the exceptionally good condition of the women's nails. (European women, even royalty, had terrible nail care.) A siamese woman volunteered to make the trip with Polo's expedition back to Europe where she taught the women how to trim, clean, polish, and paint their nails.

i think of it relatively is particularly impolite which you think of that way. try putting your self of their footwear. first of all, in the event that they are working in a nail salon, spending all day grooming human beings's palms and stinky ft, possibilities are high they are there by using fact they try to better their very own lives and the lives of their little ones/destiny little ones. if it is so, possibilities are high they at the instant are not very sturdy at English the two. Now, merely think of, you're in a distant places united states of america and can extremely communicate a notice of it relatively is community tongue. would you shop quiet and not communicate a notice of English once you're of their presence? i'd think of no longer. Our problem is that we are too uptight to look previous our front door and notice the worldwide for what it extremely is. We ***** too a lot by using fact 'each and all of the foreigners won't have the ability to talk English, and that merely gets our goat. Nevermind that maximum persons of foreigners communicate English very properly (better than many human beings even), and that contained in maximum persons of distant places international locations, English and French are used very almost merely as much as their very own community language. you in all probability did no longer take a little time to think of that perhaps on a similar time as they at the instant are not grooming you they are spending their time analyzing English, taking college classes, heck even perhaps engaged on getting their citizenship cuz they prefer American a lot!
