Honey, first of all dont play with it. I have one on my right ear too. It will go away. Its like a small cist. Do you have persed ears? Make sure you have sterile ear rings. Fake ones will irratate and become infected. Put some peroxide on the lope. After putting hot water on it. It mite come to a head and pop. (sorry for the graphics) but when this happens it will feel much better. Lump will go away. They say when lumps don't hurt thats when you call the doc. ok. Don't worry let nature take its course But DONT play with it. You'll be fine.

Sounds like an infection, maybe a cyst. See your doctor for treatment. Are your ears pierced there? That is a common reason for infections in the ear's cartilage.

Definitely take itsmeluhello's advice. Take into consideration your earrings. You need sterile earrings if you're pierced, and just need to leave them on for shorter amounts of time if you wear clip earrings. Ask yourself do my ears hurt after I take my earrings off? I think you should wear your earrings in increments of 2 hours. Then take them out and give your ears time to heal. Then you can put them back in for another two hours. Take them off as soon as you get home. Make sure you clean your earrlobes with sterilizing solution. You can get that at Claire's in the mall or any ear piercing stations.

sounds like either an infection or a cyst... if it's an infection you'll need antibiotics... if it's a cyst you'll have to smash it, yes i said smash it.
