How do I unlock a file?

I made business cards using Microsoft publisher.When I want to save it to my files,a window pops up that says "The file is locked because it is currently being used by another program.Please close other program and then try opening or importing the file again."Please be specific and give me step by step instructions.Thanks Alot!

Try right clicking on the file then click on send and send it to a new folder, then try openining the new folder, it should ask you what program you want to use to open this file, use the same program that created it and it should open. Microsoft Publisher
