When you get in the water, the blood from your period is just thinned out. it doesnt actually completely stop. you just cant see it cause its thinned.

Actually, it's important to understand that the blood flow of a period is not constant. It stops and starts, stops and starts.

That's why if you shower frequently and change your pad frequently--like I do, you'll notice that your sanitary napkin will stay clean for some time after you change it.

Then, when your flow starts again, it will become soiled.

And just a gentle feminine reminder: Change your sanitary napkin frequently, whether its badly soiled or not. You will avoid any embarrassing odor, and you will feel much fresher. Once an hour is not too much.
