This is an issue that you both need to address together. Next time oprah or dr phil comes on (or heck, ANYTHING on the Lifetime channel) turn off the television, put some sandwiches down between the two of you, and have a heart to heart.
Start with "just the facts" such as what is bothering you. Ask him what would it take to change his behaviour (since you are negotiating with him). Tell him you will meet him halfway, all he has to do is find some common ground for the two of you to work from.
I promise I'm not goofing on you...you need to give him options and let him know that you need some of his "off time" to be devoted to you (as a couple) and that if he cannot take your marriage seriously and find a comprimise, then it won't last.
Good luck and remember that you have to give a little bit too in order to make this work, that in the end everyone wants things "fair" and tends to not take it well if they are coerced (so don't threaten divorce...)

Maybe he is drinking cos he's bored and also it's a way to relax the same with the playstation, spend more time with him and try to get him out of the house more. If you notice the drinking is starting to become a daily habit then have a word with him before it turns into a serious drinking problem.
As for the playstation, there may not be any hope once he is already addicted.

Act like your fooling around and about to leave without threatening to do so. He might snap out of it.
Otherwise he's wasting his time and has nothing to show for his life so he buries himself in short term intangible victories (PlayStation) and blurs the time he wastes doing nothing (beer). He's his own worst enemy and needs to defeat himself to become something he respects.
Otherwise, truly consider leaving because he my never decide to grow up. For a laugh, mysteriously erase all saved games on the memory card ("I don't know how it happened?"). It may be so dis-heartening that he won't want to start over and simply take a break from things.

this is what I did. Why not play with him>? My hubby used to play everquest ALL THE TIME and it made me mad so when I got my own computer I bought the game and learned to play and we played together, same thing when we play battlefield 1942, we play together most times. Then sometimes my hubby will help me with some craft projects I need help with.
Try playing with him if you have 2 controllers. The drinking thing would be an issue with me, someone who gets mean and does the blame game while drunk sounds like they are childish or need to stop drinking.
GOOD LUCK!

HI. You know what? This sounds like a serious situation. He is retreating into alcohol. You communications is bad as a couple. You are getting resentful and afraid. All of that spells danger. I would encourage you to get into marriage counseling. Don't be afraid of it. Do a little research. I bet there are services available in your area. And if he won't go with you, go to the counseling by yourself. If you are going to get him off the couch and back into your life, you are going to need to face this reality, make a plan, and get the support you need. I am sorry to be so honest but I care about you.

sure you could, you will desire to coach it first. I used to have a slow metabolism by using loss of exercising and depravide from foodstuff. So i all started determining and including cardio. Ate small parts via your the day. you will desire to be overjoyed with your rapid metabolism. As you become older it relatively is going to start to get slower so delight in it now. yet to respond to your question, merely eat 2 huge nutrition. With extreme healthy carbs. Like candy potatoes. Veggis and so on.

if he acts like a child, he should be treated as such. Take away his beer and playstation until he confronts these issues with you, and you both have come up with a viable solution.

I would discuss time management with him. Tell him to set a time for his playstation activities and a time for spending quality time with you and the things you and him enjoy together.
