All you can really do is be there for her. There's nothing anyone could do at this point to make everything okay. It will take her a REALLY long time to stablize. And don't be suprised if she is never "herself" again. Just be aware that being there for her will test your patience many times and frustrate you more than you expect. Just remember when you find the situation straining your relationship, she deserves for you to stick it out.

OMG don't leave her alone at this time. Even if she says she wants to be alone only let her be alone in the other room not alone by herself in the house. Stay over night. Find people to take shifts. There's nothing left for her. Unless she has a strong faith. Does she attend Church where maybe you can get some of the congregation to fill in where you can't be or to help prepare meals. They'll help keep her busy. If she doesn't have a Church to attend do you? Maybe you can get people from there to help out. I'll keep both of you & in my prayers!!!

my God! that is truly horrible. i don't even know what to say. what do you say? if it were me, i would have to get therapy. it's horrific enough to lose your child and husband in a car crash. that alone would send the best of the best over the edge! but to lose her other two children? that would be too much for me and i consider myself a strong person. what you can do is be there fo her. she is going to need a lot of support. when she needs to be alone, give her the space she needs. she should also find a good therapist. there is no way she can get over this on her own. may God be with her and watch over her.

Are you serious??? Wow that would be devastating. Make sure you're there for her if she needs it. With events like that I imagine she might be suicidal, so watch out for signs. My dad passed away last year suddenly, and my mom contemplated suicide but fortunately she didn't do it for us 3 kids, so keep an eye on your friend.

Ask her to tell you about all the wonderful memories she has of them. Wait till the timing feels right, but I guaranty this will make her smile and feel good if even for just a moment.
