I have several computer and several cordless mice. All are Logitech. My favorite is MX 700, but I saw just the other day at logitech.com that they have some new ones. I will probably get a new one for Christmas. Haloween might be better. LOL I am not sure why you are having problems, but you might make sure you have downloaded the newest software for your mouse. I am constantly checking to make sure of the software upgrades because my mouse is my life. I use a lot of keyboard shortcuts, but not for gaming!!! Check them out online and see if they have any suggestions. Good Luck

I have used a Logitech cordless optical mouse for a couple of years now and I've never had any problems with it. I think the trick is to always have a spare set of rechargeable batteries close at hand and don't forget to recharge the depleted ones asap.

Wirless mice are very convinient but unreliable. Say you are doing a big project and all the sudden you move the mouse but nothing. You have no batteries and all the batteries from other appliances are "AA" not the frusterating "AAA" then what? Wired mouses are the best. By the way whats a mouse without a tail?

yes the mouse does eat the battery, but buy yourself some expensive rechargable ones and this has done the trick for me,
dont forget to not hide the reciever, that the mouse requires.
these are usually the poor piece of cheap kit.
cheers pete

when you say cordless do you also mean a mouse without a ball on the inside?? if it does have a a ball, have you tried cleaning the runners on the inside that run along the ball??? there are three, one x and onee y aksis, and then another one.. they get clogged , try scraping them all the way around... and if you have a mouse without a ball, then dunno.... unless the sensor is too near?
otherwise , cant help sorry
