For the same reason you have a bigger foot, bigger muscles, etc. You will probrably find that you have more hair under the arm that you favor (right handed or left handed). Because you use this arm more often, you stimulate growth in that area more. It's a simple thing: use it and it gets bigger, better, more, etc. Don't use it, it has less, is smaller, not as strong, etc.

listen.. just shave once a week . this way you will not have to worry what the difference in size is from one arm pit to the other..
