It's unusual. Usually you don't start to show until at least 20 weeks with your first. Often the distention in your abdomen is from trapped gas, which, unfortunately is another beautiful pregnancy side effect (it will help you relate to your baby's gas pains once s/he's born!)

All women are different. My sister looked full term by her 20 week ultrasound during both her pregnancies, no kidding. She was only like 135 before she got pregnant. She got a huge belly though. They actually thought she could have been having twins. Just turned out her babies were both big ones. The second one wasn't as big as the first but it sure suprised the doctors they thought she would be bigger. If you thinner too, you will show much quicker. You second appt. they usually measure the fundus and listen for the heartbeat. Depending on the doctors, you might get an ultrasound, but not all seem to do that. Good Luck!

Hi yes 3 months you should have a bump the babys position may make it appear as more of a tummy than it is. Get a What to expect when you are expecting book it has all the things lined up by month pregnant what to expect at dr visits and general questions answered things we all worry about when we are pregnant also you can check to see if things you are feeling are normal or if you should contact your dr. i couldn't have made it through my pregnancies without this book it is awesome.

You're either carrying twins, bloated or gaining too much weight. Good luck!
