I flew my American flag outside my front door. I took the time to remember the horror of that day and I prayed for the souls of the people that were killed by the terrorists that day, for them and their loved ones who had to suffer their loss.
I had woke up early that morning, to get ready for work when I heard the news of the attacks. I turned on the news and saw the planes hit the towers. It was surreal. I knew it had really happened, but there was still a feeling of "how could it have?"

It doesn't take September 11 to refresh my memory. That is a day gone down in history. Every time I see a police officer or a fire officer or hear the sirens, it literally brings back memories some way or the other. I really don't like reliving it so vividly on TV. It is to painful and heart breaking. I try not to watch the heartache of the family members, but this is only my opinion. Everybody deals with grief differently. Thanks for asking.

I woke up to the news of the US under attack....what a horrible day! The visions of those buildings all the people in the aftermath searching just to discover there really wasn't much to search for.....so heartbreaking, I have never been the same. I said a little prayer watched the news, and hoped that we continue to stay safe, most of all though, I wished for PEACE. Peace for us here in the United States, and for all nations on this earth. We all deserve peace, love, and respect, hopefully those lessons will be learned by all one day, and hateful attacks of innocent people under the guise of God and religion will become a thing of the distant past!

I watched an incredible film by two French film makers who were in New York City to do an documentary on the New York Fire Department.
The film was shown on CBS TV, was two hours long, uncensored (really bad language) with no commercials.
These two film makers had incredible film footage of being inside one of the World Trade Center buildings as the other one fell down. Some of the imagery was incredible and I had never seen it before. I want to see if the movie is available on CD.

Last night i said a few prayers with my rosary (Buddhist, not catholic) in memory of the victims of 9/11. It was by no means an act of patriotism it was out of remorse for the victims and their family.

why would i want to take the time out of my life to remember the tragic death of thousands of people that happened 5 years ago? i'm not saying that those people aren't important, but worse has happened to this country than that....so, to answer your question, NO i did not do a damn thing in remembrance of 9/11. And i'm not going to.

I was in a taxi (not in NY) listening to the radio, when that horrible thing happened. I grieved for the victims and I knew from the start that it had been the idiotic W.
