im 14 and my boyfriend is 21. i dont see what so wrong about that. i don't like that people assume im having sex with him or something because im really not doing anything bad.

You dont see what the big deal is because your 14. I thought I was fully grown by that age too and would tell my mother I knew everything. Its not only until you get older where YOU realize that you knew nothing at all. Its unfortunate but you cant see now and you will see later. You should listen to people older than you because they DO know what they are talking about. Even if your not having sex with him he's just too old for you. You have to question why the 21 yr old would rather hang out with a 14 yr old rather than girls his own age. Its just not right.

Here is what you don't want to hear.
When I hear of some one at the age of 14, I think child. When I hear of some one at the age of 21, I think young adult. It's not that you are doing anything bad, it's the age difference. It is an adults preconceived idea's about what each of you should be doing at your age levels.
This seem to be a time when you should be getting your education, going to school dances and having slumber parties with your girl friends. We want you to be as young as you are and enjoy it.
You have to realize most people will be thinking, why wouldn't a 21 year old man want sex. That he should be getting a job or more education, so that he can support a family in the future.
The age difference is most likely why people assume you are having sex. I think it is good that your not, as you have indicated.
I am not trying to be mean, I am trying to give you insight as to why people re-act the way they are with your situation.

The big deal is, well the age differance but as you both get older it becomes more tolderible. think of it this way, your 3 and he's 10 and your going out. The problem is only in the head of someone who thinks love is math, (21-14=7) and the larger the number the less the accepted it really is. but don't let it bother you is anyone talks like that. Love is messured with jestures and feelings not age and numbers

There is a reason why we all have different ages. Age does matter, and I 'm pretty sure you're just too young to see past that. This man needs some serious help, he should be ashamed whether or not you are having sex is not the immediate issue. Where the hell are your parents? Or do they even know???

when i was 14 i had a bf that was 19. everyone fought to keep us apart. i was even sent to a different state to live because of it. i hated it. . we got back togther when i came home and dated for a while, but then i found out he was cheating on me. if you really love the guy and you know he loves you then ignore what everyone says. but be careful, if he's not getting it from you he may be getting it elsewhere. i am not saying to sleep with him. thats your choice, but keep your guard up.

i know. People always think things are worse then they are. There is no big deal, they just make assumptions. I am sorta in the same situation. Just let people think what they wanna. Screw em all.
