Ok, me and my bf have been going out for a little over 6 months. Well, one of his friends likes him, and I know that. One of the gorls friends asked my bf for help in one of her classes (spanish, my bf speaks it). Well, this girl won't leave him alone and she thinks he's gonna go to homecoming with her and not me...that's not gonna happen. This girls friend is spreading false things around about other people and me, how am i supposed to make her stop without getting into a fight?

They have challenged you by doing this and it is time to step up and show them you know how to take care of business, you have to find a way to beat them, you got to dig deep and make sure that you get them back and that they know not to mess with you. Sorry, but this is one of those times in your life that you need to fight-not physically but mentally-just dont stoop to thier level, show them that you can beat them without having to be sneaky or backstabbing. They are miserable people if they have to spread lies

you can contact me if you want, I would like to help you if i can

Oh, sweetie. That sucks. Here's the problem you face: she's annoying and she's trying to make you look bad to everyone else at school, but you can't confront her and you can't get into a fight with her, because anything you say or do is just going to fuel her and make it worse, possibily giving the mean things she says about you some legitimacy.

Talk to your boyfriend about it, and let him know just how much her pettiness and jealousy is hurting you. He needs to take care of it, either by telling her that he is serious about you and only likes her as a friend, or by completely cutting her out of his life if she continues. As a last resort, particularly if the rumors she's spreading are getting really nasty, you may have to go to your school's counselor and ask what options they have for student mediation.

Rise above it and don't come down to her level. There's nothing more annoying than trying to make someone angry and it not working. She'l only make herself look stupid in the end. If your bf loves you.....he won't be interested in her, so you have no worries there, If however, he does like her and goes to the homecoming with her then you've lost a man who didn't really care about you anyway and you can move on.

Ugh - that sounds like a pain. I think the best thing you could do is to distance yourself as far away from this girl as possible. Your bf should nip this in the bud himself, since he is the object of affection. She won't listen to you, but I'll bet if he tells her to drop it and to leave him alone she won't have much else to say about it. Good luck :)

tell your boyfriend about it and let him know how much it's upsetting you. then ask him if he could stop helping her in spanish, at least until she stops talking crap about you. if he really loves ya (which he should, since you've been going out more than half a year) he'll be willling to do it just because it would make you happy. but if he tells you know and has a good reason... listen to him and ask him what he thinks you should do. (but don't just ignore it... it builds up... take it from me, i walked out of work once because i got sick of the sexual harassment aimed at my hubby.)

You need to confront her, tell her point blank what you have heard she is saying and that you don't like that she is going around telling people stories. Be firm but not mean. Let her know your a bigger person.
