Brilliant - we have the first series on DVD over here already in the UK. Can't wait for the next series to start - I'm hoping that most replies are from the US otherwise I've missed out and I'm slipping!
Hugh Laurie is one of our best comic actors who normally speaks almost with cut-glass English. To have 'morphed' himself into a US doctor in the way he has just shows what a talented man he is. I used to love the Fry and Laurie shows he did with Stephen Fry.
'House' is very well-written, and if they ever put that on at the same time as 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'Medium' I'm going to be seriously stuck!

I do watch from time to time. Hugh Laurie is actually one of my favored actors. I did just discover that Olivia Wilde (13) is actually a princess, though, so that makes her a bit more appealing.

I really enjoyed the first few episodes, but felt it was starting to get a bit samey.
Then I came down with some serious symptoms myself, and have been passed from specialist to specialist, all trying different theories and inisting on different tests and treatments, on such an apparently 'trial and error' basis, I know feel as if I'm living in a bloody house episode!

It used to be my favorite show, would watch each episode several times, but the premiere didn't wow me. I'm hopeful though. Can't imagine at this point giving up my Tuesday night fix, even if they do keep playing around with the time and it will take a long break for sports.

i like it! its so different to ER, Holby city and those other medical dramas and its great to see hugh laurie, a british export and one of the nation's finest talents do so well in the States. he deserves his success and all those awards that he won. plus, his yank accent as house sounds brilliant!
