Put some A&D ointment on it. This will also provide a barrier to prevent the liquid from getting to it. Have the daycare put in on before and after feeding. Have it written in her file that this needs to be done.

I agree with the person who said Balmex, Balmex is the best stuff. Smooth it on the rash. And put it on before she goes to day care so that her skin is protected if they don't start changing her bib. Even if they have a lot of kids there is no reason for them not to be giving her a dry bib. Talk to whoever is in charge of her baby room first, if they don't react then talk to the director. Consider changing day cares, if they are neglecting to do something as simple as changing a wet bib, what more serious things might they be overlooking? Good Luck.

Aveeno diaper rash meds work great and are good for sensitive skin. If they don't take care of the problem at the day care. I would report them. There is no reason for your baby to have a rash if they are cleaning her properly and changing the bibs.

I know that it is not always possible to go down to one income. Leaving those babies is so difficult. All of the remedies that people mentioned sound great, but as far as the care she is getting, when my guys were babies, I left them in homes rather then a center. Then I knew they got more attention. My six year old just started Kindergarten and even though I hate the fact that I have had to work (I am a teacher so I do have plenty of time off) as I watched him start kindergarten, he was SO secure and confident and I was so proud of him. There were so many kids that were terrified and crying. Love her when you are home with her and she will know you love her when you are apart.

This may sound a little weird, but try some Balmex rash cream. Balmex is proven to clear up even the worst diaper rash overnight. If she has a rash under her neck, try putting just a little in the crease of her neck and it shoud work.

Is it possible to just pop in and check on your baby? It doesnt matter how many bibs you send, if they dont change them and she lays around in a wet bib for hours. And they might be putting her on her tummy, if she drools on the bed and is laying her face in it the whole time she is sleeping, or putting her in bed with a propped up bottle.

I used to work in a daycare. there are like 3 people for like 15 kids roughly. Sometimes more. ALot of the infant didn't get very much attention. I felt so bad for them. That is probaly the issue not enough people for the room.

You can prevent the rash by putting petroleum jelly on the area. It forms a barrier. I also put p.j. on the diaper area and between my sons little chubby folds for the same reason. A nurse who helped me with my baby encouraged me to do this, and my son's never had an issue.
