Grisson is the man. Horatio is beyond the man. He unrealistically seems to know everything in the entire world and always has it figured out. Grissom's character is a nerd, such a science geek that you understand why he knows things. He has weaknesses and emotional detachment that's so obvious in his eyes. Horatio is just ... omnipotent.

Horatio Caine, without a doubt, he's so heroic and has great integrity, he's also more of a man than Grissom who refuses to carry a gun! I'd much rather work for Horatio as well, he's really good to his team, although I guess that can be bad too, hence Tim dying!

Gil Grissom is better! I just like him more because I like CSI more than CSI Miami.. I think Grissom is usually more focused and calm than Horatio is. Plus his bug collection is adorable even though I hate bugs.

Horatio Kane is such a poorly realised character, I started watching CSI Miami just to laugh at this character, I can't believe this guy is supposed to be serious, the slow cutaways and ponderous delivery, it's like a little kids idea of how to act cool
