One thing (of many) that probably needs addressing is:
Is it just lust,
is it totally foreign to lust,
or is lust a part of it?

love is when...

you smile like a fool just thinking of the person
you cry when you're missing the person
you laugh every moment youre with them
...and you do all these things you never thought you would because you want to make them happy. write them notes. buy them chocolate.

"love is just a word, until someone come along and gives it a meaning"

being able to do what you could never do, just for the sake of the person that you care most about.

"that a man would lay down his life for..."

repeatedly giving of yourself, sharing your deepest thoughts and fears, and having full confidence in someone. giving someone the ablility to ruin your life and knowing that they wouldn't.

it's not lust. attraction is involved... lots of that! :) but i wouldn't say lust. once you get married to the person you love, you take it to the next level, but i still wouldn't say it's lust. it's... purer than that, because you know that what you're doing isn't wrong. there's no guilt involved.

Love is caring for someone so deeply, you sacrifice your own happiness to make them happy. I personally have not found that, but hope to some day. In fact I thought I found it, but as time went on the love dwindled away. We were ok at first but everyday the relationship got worse because of her constant bickering and complaining about every little thing, god she just wouldn't shut up, the stupid b*tch, GOD my life sucks!

Real love is when you have someone and there is no way that you can live your life without them anymore. They make you feel completed inside and out. When love happens, you know it, you feel it, it uses so much emotion that you can't go another day feeling like you did before you met that special person. You would die for that person and you will kill for that person.

That's what I think love is.

Lust is the opposite of love...

Love is when 2 people meet each other's needs. I read that somewhere. It's not my original definition.

Love is when you care for that person more than yourself.
When you think mostly of them. When you would sacrafice something else you love for them because you love them MORE.
Lust is part of it but it is not the only thing........
