because they are sexually attracted to the same sex. this is the way i was born. im a lesbian i only like women.

It's very simple.
That's who they are attracted to on a physical and emotional level.
Just as I see a good looking man, and feel my pulse quicken, then meet him and find him fascinating, then grow to love him, a lesbian would go through tthe same things with a woman.
It's not confusing or complicated, unless one is trying to conform to a standard that doesn't fit. I hate the "people sciences" like anthropology. If I tried to be a sociologist, it just wouldn't please me. I could probably DO it, but I'd always be longing for some "real" science.

Why are you attracted to the person that you're attracted to? Can you explain it? Regardless of whether it's someone of the same or someone of the opposite sex, attraction doesn't seem to follow logic or reason.
I don't think this question can be answered by anyone.

Everyone is wired to find a particular type of person attractive. That initial tendency is then modified based on experience and culture.
Some people like tall and thin, some short and curvy. Some like dark hair, some light hair. Some like guys, some like girls. That's just human nature.

Because we are gay, homosexual, queer, and all those other nice names we get called. OK, a little harsh but really your question seems a tad pointless, but to put it simply, I was born this way, I have an emotional desire to males and thus enjoy both spiritual, emotional and physical love with them.
