Anyone who thinks they're brilliant, let's just see how smart you are. Make sense of the following phrase:

I wish that my wish doesn't come true.

Try to make it into a possible scenario. I'll give ten points to anyone who can. Lolz... I gave up a long time ago...

Now and then,
the Gibbler

You come home on night and find your wife/gf in bed with another man...instantly you wish for his slow and painful death...however just as instantly you realize that if he dies in your bed you might be accused of murder so instantaneously you wish that your first wish (the man dying ) does not come true...how’s that?

A guy makes a wish that his worst enemy would die a horrible death. Then the guy has a change of heart and makes another wish that his original wish doesn't come true.

Maybe whoever will grant the wish (a genie, etc.) just erases your memory or goes back in time so that you don't know about your wish so it doesn't come true. Or he could just grant you a different wish so that the wish of your wish not coming true does come true.

I guess this statement only applies if something happen either not in the way you wanted it to be, or you regretted the consequences. There are too many types of scenario and it varies from person to person.

You want something that you know you shouldn't have, so you hope that what you want won't be given to you.
