Lighten up everyone. The women I've said this too can't stay angry for more than 3 minutes tops before they start to laugh themselves. They start with a surprised look, then pouty angry, then can't hold the angry face then crack a smirk, then finally laugh. It's all good fun.

they know they're not fat if they ask, (cuz usually skinny ppl that ask) and they just ask to fish for compliments from u.

Because woman always want the man in there life to always find them attractive,even if we've put on a little weight,or a lot of weight.So dont say yes honey you do look fat in that.We say yes tell the honest truth but we really cant handle the truth most of us anyway.I mean really if you gain even just a little bit of weight your the first to know,and you dont need anyone else to tell you. PS.a friend weight is a touchy and sensitive subject just keep that in mind!

God will understand. While it is said to not lie, it certain cases it is better to lie, than to have the truth be told. Like if your worked at a store and were getting robbed, should you tell him exactly where the safe is, or lie and push the silent alarm?

A bit of advice: By the time she says "Does this dress...." you should be out of the house, in your car and all the way across town at the donut shop.
Now...for the diplomatic answer: You should put a hand on one hip, look deeply into her eyes and say..."If you keep parading that hot bod of yours in front of me, you ain't gonna be wearin' that dress!!!"......wink-wink, nudge-nudge.

The question is asked so that they have a reason to get mad at you. If you say no, then they say you are lying and if you say yes, then you get beaten up. I just say "Oh my, you look wonderful" even before she can ask me the question.

i'd get mad at you, too, if you said that to me....
what you're supposed to say is, "no, honey, you DON'T look fat...you look beautiful..." women like it when they're complimented, even if it's a lie.
if they counter you with, "stop lying," go on to say that you're not.
