I just found out today. They said her son spent the night with her & her newborn daughter at the hospital & the next morning Anna went to wake her son & he was dead in the chair. How devastating to give birth then 3 days later lose your first born. My heart goes out to her. I can't begin to imagine what grief she's feeling. How does the heart go on mothering when death & birth are within 3 days of eachother?

Hey laney45 thanks for the update. Gosh I didn't know just how bad the situation was for her. The death can still be from so many other causes. My friends sister died exactly like that but her cause of death was a brain tumor. She had uncontrollable vomitting & it got into her lungs because she passed out while still vomitting.
That's such a sin. Poor Anna Nicole!

According to news reports out of the Bahamas, where Daniel Smith died over the weekend....
- Daniel was reportedly vomiting uncontrollably shortly before he collapsed and died.
- "All we know right now is that he was on anti-depressants," one source said. "Some things indicate that he probably overdosed on those drugs."
- The source added that his mother went into a violent rage helplessly trying to revive her son.
- The room where they were "was a total mess," the source added, claiming that vomit and blood were splattered everywhere.
- According to workers in the hospital, seeing Daniel died before her eyes dealt a serious blow to his mother, who fought with the doctors in the room to get closer to her son's lifeless body.
- The source also alleged the medical team was unable to find the proper oxygen supply needed to resuscitate him at the time.
- Anna Nicole Smith recently bought a house in the Bahamas and she had been granetd residency there.
- Media reports are also speculating that she might have had a caesarean section or complications during pregnancy because she was still in hospital three days after giving birth.
This is all so tragic and sad.
