We have already achieved 'victory' from a military standpoint. Baghdad is ours! Yipee....But of course after an invasion there is always rebellions and desperate martyrs...Nazis would blow themselves up in the front of their invaders after they already lost the war. The problem is it was never really a fight to begin with so the worst part is the pockets of rebellions not the battles. Quite a strange war. I'm guess true victory an only be won by gaining the support of the people.

Had you had listened Bush defined victory in Iraq as Iraq running its' own affairs as a free and independent democracy. We are now in Iraq at their request, We stand down when they stand up. If they ask us to leave we gone.Git it got it good

the US troops should re-deploy, Bush said we are fighting for the democracy of Iraqis,, the Iraq President, Maliki,, won't defend Israel, therefore is not in defense of Americans,, therefore US troops should not give up their lives for a president who does not even support their country,,,, let the Iraqi government deal with their civil war,, their citizens and yes their terrorists,,, and America can defend her citizens and yes her would-be terrorists,,, our troops should be increased in Afghanistan and we should continue the hunt for bin Laden,, who was deemed by this government responsible for the attacks of 9-11........

Indefinable, we cannot get there from where we are now. I feel sorry for the poor soldiers over there. I am thoroughly frustrated by the Bus Administration for getting us in there.
