Is there a way to remove way to remove candle wax from brick?

Accidently spilled a candle on a brick fireplace. Does anyone know of way to remove the wax?

I would scrape off what I could, then put a couple layers of newspaper over it and iron it with your iron set on high, maybe the paper will absorb the wax. Sorry, that's all I could come up with. Good luck.

For carpets using newspapers or paper toweling and an iron works, so I'm sure doing the same on brick would work too! I hope you get it off!
