and what did it to to Rosemary?

I know that it actually wouldn't do anything, but in the film the fictitious herb was used to make Rosemary do what??

It didn't do anything becuase it doesn't actually exist.

Tannis is a substance found in many plants, but not a plant itself.

Tannis leaves were used in the early film versions of "The Mummy" which likely inspired Levin to use the root in his book.

There is no such thing as Tanis/Tannis Root....and as for this persons answer..."Tannis is a substance found in many plants, but not a plant itself. "...what they are referring to is TANNIN,...something COMPLETELY different.

It isn't real...It is a fictional herb used in Rosemary's Baby


According to the way they referred to it, it was just like herbal supplements.
