I was a big fan of McCain back in 2000 and was in favor of him being President, even though I typically vote Democrat. (I wasn't too impressed with Gore back then, though he has improved since then.) In recent years, McCain has been trying to shed his maverick image and actually pretends to support several of the radical platform items of the far right. Making up with Bush after what Rove did in 2000, then showing up at Bob Jones University makes me disgusted. He also seems to be blindly attached to the occupation of Iraq. Previously, he would have been horrified that we were tricked into invading. McCain is a good man and served his country honorably. Being a moderate still has its appeal. However, we need more balance in our government. It it requires the Democrats to take over one or both house to counter the executive and judicial branches, then so be it. In 2008, we'll see who the Democrats put forward. Many of us hope it's not Hillary, but she's not the worst that can happen.

McCain, probably. If he actually woke up from the brief period of drinking the Kool-aid between 2003 and 2005.

Lieberman, I don't know. He seems to have lost his grip on reality.

McCain couldn't even carry Arizona. Putting two parties on a ticket is just stupid anyway. It'll never happen.

You're better off betting on the Mit Romney/Rudy Guiliani ticket.

So far, I have no problem with McCain. If I were Republican, I would have voted for him rather than the current lying minor Napoleon we have in office today. Lieberman - NO WAY....

That would be the Democrat pick of Republicans and the Republican pick of Democrats. Which third party are you working for?
