There is this girl that I am not friends with anymore and we used to be friends so now I guess she's pissed off so she talks about me behind my back on myspace with another girl and I ignore it and don't say anything but why do you think she does this to me? Besides the fact that we are not friends anymore [because she stole from me & lied to me] WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS? WHAT SHOULD I DO?

You can do one of these two things ...
Don't care about a thing as she is not your friend now and you don't concern about whatever she says or done ..
Or if you do care about her or you want to put your feelings about her to rest , go straight to her , tell her allllllll things about her in you , about the words your think she's saying about you , about how she lied and stoled from you , and see her response , may be after all things turn out to be a missunderstanding and you'll be back again together !

Ignore her. She is trying to make herself feel/look better to others because she feels guilty about what she did and is afraid others may find out. She is trying to discredit you with them before you tell them about her that way they won't believe you or they will think it is just a petty argument.

she was never a true friend if she treated you like that !, i'd ignore her, shell soon get over it. If she knows she's getting to you shell keep doing it.

my guess is they're doing it because they're immature and they know it's bothering you even if you don't say anything. my best advice is to really ignore it. really ignoring it means not paying enough attention to their nonsense to even know it's happening.

your character will speak for itself. just be respectful to her, and she'll see that you are above her and don't deserve to be talked about in that way. if that doesn't work, just avoid her (without making it obvious.)

tell her that if she's giving out your info, she's giving out lies because everything you told her was a lie.
