I'm a huge Pearl Jam fan. I saw then live 3 times this summer. I've noticed that a lot of people I talk to respond to Pearl Jam by saying something about Jeremy, or their first two albums. This annoys me.
Anyone who is into Pearl Jam knows that they have 8 albums that are amazing. Not to mention the B-sides and such a la Lost Dogs. How can us enlightened show others that PJ is much, much, much more then their first two albums? And do we want them to get to popularity they deserve? I like being able to get tickets to their shows.

amen brother/sister....i totally agree...PJ is my favorite band of all time too, and have seen them about 7 times, cant wait for more. ten and vs were awesome albums, but they have so much more than that and honestly their albums get better each time, and definitely the rarities that most people have never heard of, contain their best stuff. like at the concerts, of course they always play alive and jeremy, they cater to that, but they always play the stuff that only true pj fans know and love. i dont know about you but im sick of everyone on here asking about last kiss, ya it was a good song, but like 8 years ago, when they covered it, and when they ask what favorite pj song you have, everyone says jeremy, go out on a limb people, i would be pissed if i was pj and only known for jeremy, its a good song, and awesome live, but again, they have soooooo much more. but hey i agree, let them be unaware, and we can have their tickets.

honestly, i wasn't into pearl jam until i bough the ep "i am mine" at a used cd store for a buck. now i just can't stop listening. a good way to get people interested is to start them out with some of their newer stuff and then move on to the old. the past is over...the modern pearl jam is just as good in the present.

Sorry dude. I was a die hard fan myself. I bought several of thier newer albums. The truth is, they lost thier spark and the world moved on without them.

yeah they are awesome...i saw them a couple years ago in concert..i'll definitely go again when they come back around where i live...and yes, all their albums are great. i must say the first few are my favorites, but i enjoy them all. but i agree with you...people don't realize that they are still out there and that they still rock
