Once the Earth becomes overpopulated...
The human race will go to war.

First, there is plenty of elbow room for humans on Earth. I won't do the math here, but if you want to look it up, this is the way it works... check the density ofpopulation for New York City. Check the square miles for New York state. If the whole of New York state were as densely populated as New York City, then you could EASILY fit the entirle population of the USA, Mexico and Canada into New York state and leave the entire rest of North America uninhabited.
Ok, so there is plenty of space. But what we are short of is resources. Right at present there is enough food to feed the whole world, but we have had a lot of problems with erosion damaging the farms, and with finding enough clearn water to use for irrigation. In some western states we have had to abandon really good farms because they ran out of water. Water is a big problem all around the world. A LOT of people have only a small amount of clean water available to them. So, we need to work on clearning up the water supplies and protecting them so they are not polluted. A really big problem that could really make life tough for us in the future is this Global Warming thing. ALmost all the scientists in the whole world who study this are convinced that the climate of the world is changing too fast, and that humans are to blame because we burn a lot of coal and oil that affects the atmosphere. IF the climate changes, no one knows how that will affect farming around the world. It could have some really big effects. That would really be bad, and would be a MUCH bigger problem than the idea of running out of space.

Like any virus that over-whelms it's host, you shall kill the planet and ourselves, unless you can find a new host to infect. This is the greatest goal of space exploration and a substantial commitment must be made before your numbers exceed the ability of the resource stream to sustain this effort. All sentient species face this decision and most fail. Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species and your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.

The earth will not support an overpopulation. Only the number of humans that the earth can support will live.

If we don't have a major nuclear war, we will eventually live in space. There is virtually infinite room, resources, and energy in space. Space colonies could be insect free, and many diseases could be kept out of a fairly small space colony. On earth, we all breath each others air, and industrial polution. Eventually most people will live in space, and the earth will only have value as a historical site. It will be made into a giant park. Some people will want to live on earth, just like the amish like to farm with horses. Buffalo will roam the plains again, and Indians will live like they did a few hundred years ago. This can come about if we aren't all blown up by islamo-facists.

To the Moon and MArs, it is inevitable.

The Earth is already too small for the JEw and Arabs!

If the Jew move to Mars, in a few hundred years Arabs will demand they be removed from that planet so they can go there, because it's a desert and they are desert people.

I swear, this would happen if Israel bought a space ship and took off for Mars tomorrow.

Arabs would be overjoyed until they realize they have no Jews to fight. The Jews have a whole planet to themselves with no Westerners to bother them.

IT's a small universe and sooner or later the Flockers will arrive to bother you no matter where you live!

Hopefully to the neighborhood Planned Parenthood, to get a prescription for birth control pills.

I mean really, its not that hard. 2kids/couple = problem solved. If aid agencies were still allowed to promote family planning without losing goverment funding (thanks, Bush) we'd already be making much more progress in developing countries. In developed countries like the US, the birth rate is usually just at or below the replacement rate, and the only growth is through immigration.
